Jessica’s St Lucia Trip Diary

Our travel specialist, Jessica, has just returned from St Lucia, a magical island renowned for its iconic volcanic peaks, The Pitons, its lush rainforests and blue-green waters teeming with sea life. During her trip, Jessica visited some of the beautiful resorts we offer but she also had a chance to take part in some of the activities offered on the island. She visited the sulphur springs with their mud baths, ‘flew’ through the rainforest canopy on a zipwire, took a speedboat trip down the coast, and took a Segway tour along a nature trail where the guides shared their knowledge of the surrounding flora and fauna.

Family fun in the Maldives

In recent years the Maldives has become increasingly popular as a family holiday destination, but what is it that attracts them? The calm, crystal clear waters are great for swimming and snorkelling and the beaches are powder white. Many resorts offer exceptional children’s clubs and entertainment programmes, allowing younger guests to experience a true Maldivian adventure. Younger travellers can enjoy exploring the marine life and can take part in arts and crafts, games and sports. Nearly all resorts also offer babysitting facilities, giving parents the chance to enjoy some downtime.

Tropic Breeze Founder Jo and Destinations Manager Katie, recently returned from a trip to Barbados. They were there to represent Tropic Breeze at a marketing event, but also made sure to find time to soak up the atmosphere of this incredible island! Barbados is a wonderful holiday destination, with a 60 mile coastline of white sand beach, picturesque fishing villages, friendly locals, gourmet cuisine and plenty to see and do.
