From concerts and carnivals to food festivals and sailing regattas, there are plenty of exciting events taking place across the Caribbean islands in 2018!

Bequia Easter Regatta
(30 March – 2 April)
The island’s biggest event, known for its blend of yacht racing and on-shore activities. Colourful local sailing boats and yachts from across The Grenadines compete in a number of races, while on dry land there are various activities including concerts, beach parties and family games.

Pure Grenada Music Festival
(13 – 15 April)
A three day festival featuring local bands alongside international artists. The festival village will be beside the water in St George’s, Grenada’s capital, promising a lively atmosphere with musicians from genres including soul and reggae.

Antigua Sailing Week
(28 April – 4 May)
One of the great events in the world sailing calendar and a ‘must do’ for many yachtsmen – as well as a series of exciting races, the event is known for its lively post-sailing parties which are hosted on a different Antiguan beach each night.

Barbados Crop Over
(May – August)
Crop Over festivities take place from May onwards, with the official festival season starting in July and climaxing with the Grand Kadooment costume band road march on the first Monday in August. Markets, carnivals, concerts, exhibitions and colourful Calypso competitions all take place across Barbados.
Stay at Sugar Bay, a relaxed resort on the south coast.
Nevis Food & Mango Festival
(5 – 8 July)
A unique event celebrating the 40 different varieties of mango that are found on Nevis, as well as the vibrant culinary scene. Cooking demonstrations and master classes will be held over the course of four days with local and celebrity chefs, plus dining experiences at top restaurants.

St Lucia Chocolate Heritage Month
(August)
The month of August is dedicated to celebrating St Lucia’s thriving cocoa industry. Visitors to the island can take part in cocoa plantation tours, sample chocolate-inspired dishes and indulge in spa treatments that make use of the product.
Stay at Anse Chastanet, a hillside resort with views of the Pitons.
Barbados Food, Wine & Rum Festival
(15 – 18 November)
A celebration of gastronomy in Barbados involving local and international chefs, rum experts and mixologists. Events include rum tours, cook offs, fine dining, beach barbecues and an exhibition polo match where fans can watch while sampling cocktails and canapes.
