I recently set off on my first trip to the Caribbean, travelling as part of a group on an island hopping journey through St Vincent and the Grenadines, courtesy of the nation’s tourist board. We travelled southwards through the islands, visiting Young Island (just off the coast of St Vincent), Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Petit St Vincent and finally Palm Island. Having spent such a lot of time reading and writing about these beautiful destinations, I was eager to see them for myself! Trip diary: Off the beaten track in Barbados

Jo and Mark recently returned from a trip to Barbados, with a few days on a private island resort in the Grenadines. Having visited Barbados many times over the years, Jo knows the island extremely well and has discovered some hidden gems. Julia’s Antigua trip diary

Julia, a member of our sales team, tells us all about her trip to Antigua in 2014:

“Stepping onto my British Airways flight, I began my journey to Antigua with excitement. This would be my third visit, and flying in the Club World cabin was a real treat.
Upon arrival in Antigua we were met by Randy and Passion, our tour guide and driver for the week. No matter how many times I return to the Caribbean, I am always bowled over by the genuine friendliness shown by the locals. As always, even arriving in rainy season, the sun was shining bright and the temperature was high. I knew at this point I was going to have a good week!
