I recently set off on my first trip to the Caribbean, travelling as part of a group on an island hopping journey through St Vincent and the Grenadines, courtesy of the nation’s tourist board. We travelled southwards through the islands, visiting Young Island (just off the coast of St Vincent), Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Petit St and finally Palm Island. Tropic Breeze visits Nevis and St Kitts
It was a miserable and cold morning in London, but frankly I didn’t mind! I had that spring in my step as I made my way from my snug yotel Gatwick room to the terminal and hopped onto my flight to Antigua- Not a bad way to start my weekend!
