Strawberry Hill is a mountain-top hotel located about one hour’s drive from Kingston Airport, formerly a coffee plantation owned by the royal family. Perched over three thousand feet above sea level in the Blue Mountains, the boutique property offers magnificent views of the mountain scenery and Kingston. Accommodation is in colonial style cottages and villas, each with its own Caribbean charm and individuality. Cuisine fuses traditional Jamaican flavours with contemporary international dishes, while the outstanding spa is a private and secluded escape.

While staying at Strawberry Hill guests can explore the property’s beautiful gardens, hike through the surrounding countryside with an experienced guide or venture into Kingstown where there are plenty of art galleries and museums.

From Strawberry Hill, travel northwards around the edge of the Blue Mountains to reach your next hotel which is near Ocho Rios, a journey of about two and a half hours by car.

GoldenEye is a beachfront hotel in Oracabessa Bay, originally built as a villa by Ian Fleming to be a relaxing retreat in which he wrote the James Bond novels. The chic, laidback resort has been carefully remodelled to include new cottages, suites and villas which are either set by the beach or the lagoon. The resort has a treehouse-style restaurant and a waterfront spa, as well as plenty of activities available on the beach and around the lagoon.

GoldenEye is an ideal spot for relaxation and taking part in watersports, or guests can get out and go mountain biking or jogging. Possible excursions include Dunn’s River Falls, Mystic Mountain and Dolphin Cove.
