Traditional Meets Contemporary at Angsana Velavaru

Located in the centre of it’s own lagoon in the South Nilhandhe Atoll, Angsana Velavaru is just 40 minutes by seaplane from Male and has an incredible amount to offer. The island boasts some of the most impressive white sand beaches in the Maldives as well as a spectacular house reef with 30 amazing dive spots.

At Tropic Breeze we love that the resort features a real mixture of traditional Maldivian architecture with a modern twist that gives the island a character all of its own. Beachfront Villas, dotted along the palm fringed sands, are bright and colourful with thatched roofs while the InOcean Villas, set over the lagoon, are much more contemporary in style boasting clean lines and glass walls.

Don’t just dream about it….for further information or to book your holiday to Angsana Velavaru, please call us on 01752 880880, or email [email protected].

From towering mountain peaks and waterfalls to enchanting rivers and secluded beaches, the island’s scenery is varied and stunning. Despite being a fairly large island, Dominica is relatively untouched by tourism and is perfect for those looking to explore off the beaten track.

Jessie Explores St Kitts & Nevis

Travel Specialist Jessie travelled to St Kitts and Nevis in October and spent some time exploring both islands, as well as visiting a selection of hotels. Separated by a 2km channel of water, St Kitts and Nevis work well as a twin centre destination, and either island can be easily combined with Antigua as part of an island hopping itinerary. Jessie was excited to visit these two intimate islands, both of which are an ideal choice for the Caribbean traveller looking to go a little off the beaten track.
