The Maldives is a paradise for water lovers, where tropical islands are surrounded by sparkling turquoise lagoons. Resorts offer a range of water-based activities such as boat trips, snorkelling and scuba diving which allow visitors to get close to marine life, but there are also plenty of alternatives which don’t involve getting wet!
Bars, restaurants and spas are found either perched above the surface or just beneath it, promising breath taking views. There is also plenty of overwater accommodation to choose from – the ultimate luxury Maldivian experience.
