Commercial Director Katie recently spent a week at Coyaba Beach Resort in Grenada. This charming, family run resort enjoys an incredible location on Grand Anse Beach, arguably one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. With beautiful gardens and the Caribbean Sea just steps away, you can’t help but relax in this stunning setting.

Days on the beach
A good beach is a priority for many of our clients, and it doesn’t get much better than Grand Anse Beach. Days at Coyaba Beach Resort can be spent enjoying this incredible two-mile stretch of white sand. When you aren’t relaxing on your lounger, head to the new beach bar for a tropical cocktail, or take a stroll along the beach. For those who prefer to be poolside, there is also a freeform swimming pool complete with a swim-up bar.
A home from home
Coyaba Beach Resort feels intimate and homely. Rooms are set in a horseshoe shape overlooking the beautiful tropical gardens, with some offering a view of the ocean beyond. What really sets Coyaba apart is the staff, who with their warm welcome and friendly service make you feel so at home. This creates the perfect laid back atmosphere for a relaxing holiday. It is no wonder so many of our clients return year after year!

Laid back dining
Dining at Coyaba is laid back and varied, with a daily changing menu. Start the day with breakfast at Arawakabana restaurant, where local specialities and international favourites are served, along with delicious made-to-order omelettes. Lunch can be taken here, or at the casual poolside restaurant. In the evening, guests can also dine in either restaurant, and there is always an a la carte option available at the poolside restaurant.
Exploring Grenada
Thanks to Coyaba’s superb location, it is very easy to get out and explore Grenada! You might want to venture out for lunch to one of the nearby beach bars on Grand Anse Beach, such as Umbrellas or 61 West. Alternatively, head out on an excursion to beauty spots such as Annandale Waterfall and Grand Étang National Park. A sunset cruises is also a popular option – sail along Grand Anse Beach sipping Champagne as the sun sets.

Katie’s Tips
- The main restaurant is great for a light lunch before returning to the beach, then head to the poolside restaurant for an intimate a la carte dinner.
- There are loungers dotted around the gardens, and if you request a ground floor room you can make use of the loungers just steps from your patio.
- Try a Virgin Colada from the beach bar for a refreshing beachside drink.
