Grenada is graced by Grand Anse Beach – a stunning two mile stretch of sand and one of the world’s most famous beaches. It is however worth taking some time away from the beach to drive up to the mountains. Here you can enjoy the experience of a walk in the rainforest and visit Grand Etang Lake – set 530m above sea level in the crater of an extinct volcano. Take a stroll on one of the trails and enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery on the island. On the way back down, be sure to stop for a refreshing swim at Annandale Waterfall.
Grenada has some of the best spots for diving and snorkelling in the Caribbean, including the famous Underwater Snorkel Park. This unique underwater gallery not only showcases Grenadian culture, but also acts as an artificial reef, attracting an incredible array of marine life. Over 30 new sculptures were added in 2024, so even if you have been before it is worth a second visit! We would also recommend taking a sunset cruise in Grand Anse Bay, which will not only allow you to enjoy a magical Caribbean sunset, but gives you the chance to see the pretty capital of St George from the water – which looks particularly stunning when lit up in the evening.
