Jo visited the beautiful island of Antigua in May. She was on island for a little over a week, catching up with our hotel partners and of course staying at some incredible properties. Only by staying at these resorts can we ensure we are able to offer our clients the very best advice and recommendations – it’s a tough job, but Jo was up for the challenge!
Galley Bay Resort & Spa

Galley Bay Resort & Spa is an adults only, all inclusive resort popular thanks to its stunning beachfront accommodation, varied dining options and beautiful stretch of secluded white sand beach. The resort has long been a favourite amongst Tropic Breeze clients, and Jo found it to be as beautiful as ever. She particularly enjoyed having breakfast right on the waterfront at the Gaugin Restaurant and strolling along the beach first thing in the morning as the sun came up.

Hermitage Bay

Hermitage Bay is a secluded, all-inclusive retreat on the southwest coast of Antigua that has a reputation for being one of the island’s most chic, luxurious destinations. Jo loves the tranquillity of this resort, and she was delighted to see that many of the superb staff, who have been there for years, were still on hand to offer the attentive yet discreet service Hermitage Bay is known for. Jo was excited to see the recently refurbished rooms and public areas, which were looking stunning.

Tamarind Hills Resort & Villas

Tamarind Hills is a relatively new addition to the Tropic Breeze portfolio. Jo first saw this resort very recently after it opened, so she was delighted to go back and see how much their offering has developed. Set on a stunning sunset-facing bluff, Tamarind Hill‘s offers luxurious, contemporary suite and villa accommodation with panoramic sea views and enhanced resort facilities. Jo couldn’t decide which was more beautiful – the beach or her incredible suite.

The Inn at English Harbour

Another firm favourite amongst our clients, The Inn at English Harbour was the final stop on Jo’s trip. This charming beachfront hotel is set on a on a wooded headland at the entrance of the historic English Harbour, so an ideal option for those keen to explore some of the island’s most famous sites. There is something very special about the atmosphere at The Inn, and Jo particularly enjoys staying in their Beach Cabanas, set right on the beach just steps from the sea.
At Tropic Breeze we specialise in using our personal knowledge of each hotel to offer the best recommendations based on our extensive experience of the Caribbean and Indian Ocean. If you would like further information please call us on 01752 880 880 or email [email protected] |
