Hanifaru Bay is perhaps best known as one of the best places to see whale sharks and Manta rays. The best time to visit is from May to November, when both can be seen in abundance. Although diving is no longer permitted at Hanifaru Bay, it is possible to snorkel and swim with the whale sharks and Mantas – an incredible experience and certainly one for your Maldives holiday bucket list!
